Like many others, I frequented the original Tap 42 in Fort Lauderdale often. When I found out months ago that they were opening a second location less than 2 miles from my place I was so excited!! Since the opening I have been 4 times so it is safe to say I love the new Tap 42!! The new location is much bigger and the open area outside is very comfortable with the additional couches set up to just relax and hangout. Also there is a lot more parking with the garage behind the restaurant. Recently I decided to throw my friend a surprise birthday dinner party here. I contacted Tap 42 and they set me up with Michelle Quinn the Tap42 Boca Event Coordinator. She was awesome to deal with and answered all of my questions. It was a large party of about 25 people and she made sure we had two tables reserved. I even arrived several hours early to drop off the cake and birthday supplies and the hostesses were so friendly and happy to help in whatever way I needed to make the party run smoothly. They also easily accommodated several separate checks for the large group. I was overly impressed and grateful for how the staff handled everything that night so thank you!! As far as the food goes it is always consistently good. I love the burgers and brought my dad here to enjoy the $5 burgers on Monday night. He loved the Prohibition burger and so did I! I really like the chicken littles and pulled pork sliders. Perfect for a happy hour snack or meal. The skillet spinach and artichoke dip is also really good as an appetizer. I did order the fish sandwich one night and although it was really good the size of the fish on my sandwich was really small and you could only see bread when they served it to me. It was late on a Sunday so I will let that one go as an off night glitch lol. Make sure to try the brussel sprouts as a side!! They are delicious and tossed in this yummy sauce that I think has Dijon in it but I am not sure. Overall I LOVE the new Tap 42 and I can't wait to come back when the weather cools off a bit to enjoy their awesome brunch with $15 unlimited mimosas. Their drafted old fashioned and mule drink are also 2 of my favorites. This new location has a huge following already and the staff seems to be able to handle the large crowds well. I am very happy to have them here in Boca!

Dear Yelp, I went to Tap 42 tonight. I wanted to stay home and play Elder Scrolls Online, but my wife insisted that I act like an adult and go out to dinner with some other married assholes. You know what? I'm sort of glad I did. I'll get any negativity out of the way first. The beer numbered 42 ( a number which represents the meaning of life, the universe, and everything) was kind of fucking bland. It was a cigar city vanilla whatever. Unlike the rest of South Florida's denizens, my mind is not constantly felated by cigar city beers. Our waitress was a pissy little cheerleader who had her favorite lipstick taken away or something. That's it for the bad. Their Mac and goddamned cheese was a-bitching-stounding. It had more shrimp and bacon that macaroni! What? Nobody does that! Nobody. You go to another restaurant and they put 4 little shrimp on a mountainous pile of buttery spaghetti and call it scampi. Every bite felt like an adventure in the land of "what the menu actually says." Amazing.. Also, the napkins were clean and starched. Total pro shit. That's it.. Keep it real, Yelp, you dirty minx.

As everyone probably knows, the Tap 42 in Fort Lauderdale has quite a following, so there was no surprise when they announced their growth, with the second location being Boca. Located in the plaza I refer to as "The Roccos Tacos / Total Wine Plaza" you'll find Tap 42 positioned just across from the Roccos Tacos, a short walk away from the parking garage, or front-side lot parking (if you can find a spot). Personally, I love Tap 42 in Fort Lauderdale. Truth be told I only find the food to be good, not outstanding, but the place has a great vibe, great crowd and I like the concept, and all of this definitely carried over to the Boca location, so setting up a surprise birthday party here for Cherine A. was a natural choice for the planning committee! I arrived slightly early and grabbed a seat at the bar. Like the Fort Lauderdale location the bar has both inside and outside seats, and being someone who hates AC I sat outside. I was surprised a Tuesday night at 6pm had such an after work happy hour crowd (the place was pretty packed with young professionals)! Happy hour = $3 off all drinks except craft beer bottles, so I went with a signature cocktail - the Boca Blonde. This drink, well, it wasn't spectacular, and I found it to be a bit bland, so I definitely wouldn't order it again....in fact I switched to mojitos afterwards, which were much better! Once the party arrived and awaited Cherine's walk in we got down to ordering at the table, and despite there being a group of 15-20 of us, our one server was easy to find and did a great job of keeping checks separate! For food I went with the goat cheese stuffed peppadews (had these before and I love them) and the mahi mahi sandwich (upgraded my side from fries to brussel sprouts for $1 extra). I had never had the sandwich before but it was pretty tasty and I enjoyed the sauce on the bread. There was also a side of sauce, and I wasn't sure if it was the same sauce on the bread, or something for dipping my brussel sprouts in, but that was the way I went with it, and found it made the brussel sprouts that much better lol. Towards the end of the evening the cake (yes they allowed the party planners to supply their own cake) was brought out and plates provided for serving. I really can't say enough good things about the staff at this location, and it really does seem like they had zero service kinks (despite only being open for a month!). I can't comment on the whole planning, but it seems like Tap 42 was able to accommodate all of the requests and gave us the perfect area outside for our group which allowed us to not bother anyone else, and still have room to move/breath, as well as easily handle separate checks!

The menu is great! you can order a few small appetizers and drink if you don't feel like having a huge meal! We went in on a Friday night and even though it was completely packed they had seating right away! can't wait to try brunch.

Amazing food and service !!! For a new restaurant, everything ran seamlessly- you would never know they were only open for 2 days. Highly recommended for any meal!

I like this plaza a lot. It probably has something to do with my favorite liquor store being in here, but I have been here countless times, and I did not realize this was here. I know Tap 42 is new, but I didn't even realize this space was here, and totally missed the fact that there was a bar here even before Tap. I guess I had Total Wine tunnel vision. Anyway, I'm very glad I discovered this location. Parking in this plaza can be a little bit tricky, but there is a garage in the back. The front parking lot can get filled up easily, especially once the full valet areas kick in around dinner/happy hour time, but I think we could all walk a little more, and this is a nice plaza, walking and browsing a little will be enjoyable. I came to Tap 42 with a pretty large group for a surprise birthday party on a Tuesday night. Though I didn't have much to do with the logistics of the party setup, I was impressed with how the staff handled us when we arrived. They had reserved us two large outside tables, and the waitress was careful to ask everyone's name as she was taking food and drink orders so that tabs would not be an issue when it came time to pay. I wish more places would take the initiative to do this at the start of a group meal as it just made things so much smoother when we were all ordering and paying and leaving on somewhat different schedules. As for what Tap 42 has to offer happy hour until 7 offered $3 off all drinks. This particular evening I went with wine, and with prices by the glass starting around $9 and climbing the $3 off if really appreciated. If it weren't for the happy hour pricing I would probably only do wine by the bottle. The main draw here is obviously the beer, where there are some better happy hour deals to be had, but I'm just not much of a beer drinker. Their craft cocktails all sound delicious and with happy hour pricing bringing them down below $10 that is the time to try to figure out which is your favorite. I didn't try any food this visit, but offerings range from smaller snack items to burgers and entrees. The Monday $5 burger includes a vegetarian option, so I will have to come back to try that at some point. I used to go to Tap 42 in Ft Lauderdale quite often when it first opened a few years back, but it started to get a little crowded and parking at that location can be an issue as well. This Boca location seems to combat both those issues. The venue is much larger and I think has a much better flow with a more open outdoor/indoor seating environment. The parking isn't an issue with the garage option. I enjoyed this happy hour very much, and I would definitely recommend this location for large groups as the space is plentiful with bar seating, high top tables, and lounge type seating, and the staff is happy to accommodate.

Mostly for beer & sports. Food is average. Prohibition Burger sounded good, but avocado had soaked up most of the grease the burger was floating in when it got to the table. The overall experience of the burger would equal a typical backyard cookout. The fries were plentiful and almost seemed to be apologizing for the burger, as they were indeed the only highlight of the menu item. This is a high energy, craft beer joint....watch some football and have some beers...just steer clear of the burger.

Overrated is the first word that comes to mind. I heard GREAT things. I didn't see it. I'm not saying it's bad. I wasn't impressed. They have a huge amount of seating outside which is great. Tons of huge TVs. Downside is the fans don't do enough on hot nights to keep you cool. It's a challenge in south florida at night to keep people cool. Inside seating is pretty crowded which is a good thing. The design of the place overall is really well done. We had guacamole. Eating guac while looking at Rocco's and it isn't as good was something I don't intend to do again. Far from good. Had the goat cheese pappadews. Decent, nothing great. I ordered the superfood salad and added Salmon to it. I specifically asked for the Salmon not to be overcooked/dry. It came out overcooked and dry. Someone ordered fries which were pretty good. This is odd but they were super cheap with ketchup and asking for it 5 times I finally got what I needed. Service was definitely below expectations. Some people I was with really liked their food. I was not impressed. There are too many good options in Boca/Delray. This place needs to step up their game.

IT IS FINALLY HAPPENING....Boca is becoming "cool!" Thanks to the team at Tap 42 for bringing in a place to dine that is for those probably under the median age of 65 (of a Boca Resident!) Before you head to this spot let me give you 2 tips.... 1. A few days before or at least the day before make reservations! It get's slammed for brunch 2. If you don't get reservations and plan to wait... plan to drink! I mean for $14 bottomless mimosas you better be ready! Now that you have probably drank your way to a buzz even before the food comes just order anything from the menu, I mean anything, it is all good! I would say that the burger is just BOMB! I don't even use that term but for this I will. The steak and eggs were also a huge hit! Thank you TAP 42 for coming to the Gen X & Y rescue!!!!

Great place to grab upscale bar food with friends The rotating drafts and variety selection of beers and mixed drinks won't let you go home thirsty I enjoy the tuna/crab spicy rolls / chicken little sliders and goat cheese crostinis The French fries are pretty tasty too Just be advised the acoustics in this place. Very loud place but cool vibe

Me and my fiancé came here to enjoy some drinks after a long work week. A server named Emily asked our opinion and if we were enjoying ourselves. She brought over an even better beer (after learning about our taste pallets) and we loved it. WE LOVED THE RESTAURANT, BEER, AND EMILY!! Highly recommend!!

This place is LOUD during happy hour on Friday nights. I promise I'm not that old lol. I HOPE YOU HEARD MY FIRST SENTENCE! Hehehe. See what I did there. Anyways, we started off with some crispy Asian calamari that was tremendous, served on top of Asian slaw and a side of sweet & sour sauce. Loved it! We also ordered some chicken littles. Truffle honey butter fried chicken mini sandwiches, it was like a flavor blast in my mouth! Loved it. Excellent combination of sweet and salty. For the main I ordered the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich. It came with a roasted red chili tarter sauce that was to die for. Delicious. Only problem was that the fish sandwich was lacking in the fish department. Don't get me wrong, it tasted great but there wasn't much there. Two things kept TAP 42 from a 5 star review. One, the fish sandwich needed more fish and two, they need to find a way to soften the acoustics. Other than that we loved it. Will be back to try more of the menu.

We were turned away when we sat at the bar. We are new to the city and we're staying at the hotel. We stopped by to get a drink and were told we couldn't unless we were invited by the owner. The next person came in with a uniform on from another job and they offered Gina drink without checking reservations.

Wow! Just went to friends and family party at Tap 42 in Boca. I go to the Ft. Lauderdale one all the time and I was blown away by this new one. Great vibe! Great service and sick food! Best fried calamari and chicken wings and I of course stayed with my favorite chopped salmon salad. Rumor has it they are opening in Coral Gables! Can't wait

It's been a little less than a year and here I am, reviewing TAP 42. AT and I went to Fort Lauderdale to visit friends and he ended up getting in touch with his college roommate and we spent a fun evening at this cool gastropub in Fort Laudy. Looking over the menu to jog my memory (and flipping through my photos, which I still have o_O), it looks like the food selection is pretty much the same (or really similar) to our visit. The space is beautiful, with bar-height wood tables and a modern industrial look. The bar is the centerpiece of the place, which makes sense considering the job is a gastropub. The food options are typical pub fare but with interesting twists here and there. It can be heard to hear your company when here, so if you like to drink and eat, you are better off spending your time people-watching and filling up your stomach with all that TAP 42 has to offer. Our group started out with the cornbread cupcakes, which is a fun take on the typical starter carb. I enjoyed these and actually think we should have ordered two since one order is good for 2-3 and we had twice as many folks. I wasn't too hungry and the weather was warm so I opted for the Grilled Chicken Avocado Salad. I feel almost silly reviewing a gastropub having only eaten a salad and to be frank, the salad was good and fresh, but nothing that blew my mind. AT got a burger, though I don't remember which. I just recall he ate the whole thing, which is usually a good sign. I do recall vividly that he got the Wild Pear-tini, which came with a teeny wild pear on the side! This was soaked in alcohol and I got to take a good bite out of it, just because I had to know what a mini pear tasted like. It was an interesting drink and he enjoyed it and finished it also. If you know AT, he doesn't stop at one drink though. Though I don't recall the one he got (I think it was the Prohibition and knowing him, he probably got the Sunny Side-up Egg on it), he also had a glass of Cigar City Maduro Oatmeal Brown and gave me a few sips. I don't drink generally but I always like to taste his stouts and whatnot. I enjoy the chocolatey, coffee taste. It was a poppin' weekend night so it took awhile to get our checks but overall, we all had a good time catching up over tasty food and drinks. If you're in the area and want a cool, unpretentious place to hang, you might consider TAP 42.

Yikes! I got a little schnuckered up, but in a sensible kind of way. Great conversation with my two guests. We lost track of time, and the drinks kept a comin'. We got here at around 7 p.m. on a Saturday. The older Boca crowd was just departing and was replaced by the 20-to-30-something crowd as the evening progressed. It was the first weekend of college football, and the tomahawk chop was out in full force as FSU was scoring TD's left and right. Meanwhile, my Wisconsin Badgers were getting their collective arse kicked by Alabama. On this evening, however, the mood was jolly and nothing, not even a Badgers loss, was going to bring me down. The waitress was really good. She beat me to the punch on one occasion when my beer didn't arrive in a timely manner. I appreciated that she noticed. She was friendly and never rushed us. I had my normal Prohibition burger. I'm a creature of habit. No need to go into details as the burger is standard amongst Tap 42's guests. I was told the fish and chips were delicious, too. Such a pleasant evening. It's a big place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of TV's. Music is loud, which I can tolerate after two or three beers. Not a biggie. Looking forward to returning. Love this locale as I do the Fort Lauderdale establishment.

The young, rich and beautiful. Too bad I don't fit any of those. But the beer is excellent, selection and flavor and freshness. Staff is fast and friendly. Food is a little disappointing, for being listed as a gastropub I expected more than what seems to have one out the back of a Sysco truck. Taste was good, but nothing exceptional or note worthy. But did I mention all the beautiful people? If this is your crowd, you won't be disappointed.

This spot opened 7 weeks ago. Great staff, location, food, and beer selection. The new Boca Hotspot, if you ask this Boca raised girl.

Welcome to Boca! The one in Fort Lauderdale is literally a hit, so when they opened up closer to home, I was excited to check out the new location. I have been meaning to go to it since it's opening a couple months ago, but it came true the other night when a group of us went for a surprise birthday party. It's directly across from the Rocco's Tacos in the Town Center Plaza and it's very spacious. I think it's bigger than the one in Fort Lauderdale and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. As the evening went on, the temperature dropped just a little bit and it wasn't too bad with the humidity. I wore jeans and it didn't bother me the slightest. Maybe something with the alcohol had a factor in that ;) 3 bucks off drinks are available during the happy hour and I got two mojitos. I found them very delicious and good. It wasn't overdone with rum and club soda and mint were mixed enough to be the right amount of sweet. A friend of mine had a cocktail drink that looked delicious and I ended up ordering one. I forget what it was called, but the bartender was able to make it by the recipe she pulled up on her phone. It was in serious competition with the mojitos I had before hand. Spinach dip is one of my favorite appetizers and I ordered it. I had a few bites along with everyone else nibbling on it. The dip consisted of artichoke hearts, cheddar, jack, and feta cheeses along with small tomato pieces. I didn't even notice the tomatoes in it and it was full of flavor. Thankfully, I had some room for the BBQ short rib burger with parmesan fries. It was absolutely marvelous! The burger was perfectly seasoned and it was topped with white cheese, BBQ sauce, dijonnaise, and braised short rib. The short rib put me in heaven. I can't say enough about it. Just try it for yourself and thank me later! We were able to have separate checks and the staff kept us full of drinks and food while providing excellent service. All of us were able to sit together and we were comfortable. Thank you for keeping those fans on and our faces happy! I can't wait to go back to try the brunch one day. The bottomless mimosas are already calling my name. Lunch or dinner isn't a bad idea either :)

I had my first experience at Tap 42 this past Friday night, and it was great! I came with a group of people, so I sampled many drinks. Highly recommend their version of a Moscow Mule as well as their grapefruit drink. As a vegan, I was surprised at the amount of options! I ordered the quinoa wraps and was so satisfied. Very friendly and quick service as well! Also, the staff is attractive, which is always a plus ;)

The food was amazing the service was a little wack. Our waitress looked confused and uninterested in serving us all the time however the food was delish! The fries weren't all that. Too rough for my taste. But overall nice!

We came on a Monday night for the $5.00 burger night! Was very impressed. Burger was delicious and a big serving for 5.00. Atmosphere is fun and hip! Good for a beer and burger!! Tap 42 we will be seeing you again soon! Oh and thank god for the fans outside!!

I love Tap 42 in Lauderdale and I LOVE this one! I might even prefer it! Big statement! For opening week they were super! Sliders were delicious (we tried all 3) and service was on point! They too have the bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary's for $15.00!

My wife and I went there for the Bottomless Brunch - great food and even better service. We started off with the Spicy Crab & Tuna Rolls - number 3 on our waitresses list but number 1 on my wife's list. The taste of the tuna, crab and "bread" combined for a great start for our brunch. Moving on to our main course - my wife had the Green Eggs & Ham Benedict and I had the Chicago Style Steak & Eggs. To me, my choice was the best, - perfectly seasoned filet mignon, perfectly cooked eggs, a sauce to die for all on top of hash browns. My wife's choice had a sweet and tangy taste. The salsa verde was excellent along with the pulled pork. Her only comment was she wished the eggs were cooked over easy. We have placed Tap 42 on our rotation of places to eat - we will be back soon.

Finally Tap42 opens in Boca! Woohoo! Stopped in for a last minute Happy Hour decision and surprisingly we didn't have to wait (30 minutes later it was packed!). You can enjoy the Happy Hour anywhere in the restaurant which is nice - I hate when you have to cram at the bar! $3 off all drinks AND bonus $5 Prohibition Burgers on Monday! The decor is rustic modern with colorful wood planks on the walls, concrete floors, and cage-style shelving above the bar - very cool. We started with some apps & the Blazin' Cucumber cocktail (which is on tap!) - the two hot dates, calamari, stuffed peppadew peppers, and the bacon & corn guac. The two hot dates were definitely my favorite (goat cheese, dates, crostini, Purple Haze jam) and the calamari & guac are tied for second! The peppers didn't do much for me honestly. Had to have the burger, of course! It was delish! I'm not a burger connoisseur but I think it was pretty great and topped with white cheddar, bacon, secret sauce, dijonnaise, and LTO. Yum! Finished off with the chocolate chunk bread pudding and this put me over the edge. So delicious but prepare to be comatose afterwards! For being brand new, everything went pretty smoothly which is not something you expect right off the bat. Good experience & can't wait to try their brunch soon!

I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. Not much needs to be said about Tap other than that every single item on the menu is bangin'! Everything on the menu from the Bites section, which includes the Cornbread Cupcakes and Two Hot Dates, to the other heavy hitters part of the menu such as the Truffle Steak Sandwich and Drunken Goat Burger, leaves you in a state of pure bliss. Pairing one of the numerous bourbons or beers they have on tap with the many food items is easily the most satisfying part of the whole experience. Come check Tap and the wonderful crew out sometime soon!!!

What an experience! We went on a Sunday for the unlimited mimosas specifically and the reputation of the brunch menu and it did not disappoint. The place is full right when it opens at 11am on Sunday so beware if you are a large party wanting seating, just arrive earlier. Mimosas were delicious if course but that's not difficult, we ordered the french toast with banana, the steak and egg hash brown and the pulled pork eggs Benedict. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned to the same effect. The hash brown sits right underneath it so it's a nice surprise when the textures mix. The pulled pork eggs Benedict will shock your taste buds. The seasoning paired with the melt in your mouth pork make it near impossible to pick a favorite. The banana french toast is fresh, decadent, tastes as good as it looks and is a lovely compliment to a mimosa if you lean that way. The atmosphere is buzzing, people everywhere, but not too much that it's crowded, we sat at the bar and it was quite spacious still. Music is new age, up beat and trendy. Loud at times but you can adjust according to where you sit. Overall it was a 10 out of 10 experience. I cannot wait to go again and taste more and the same off the menu. I highly recommend Tap 42, currently as my number 1 brunch spot in south Florida. Well deserved !

The food is good, the beer selection is o.k., too many IPA's for my taste. This place just does not have the same vibe as the Fort Lauderdale location. Way too many financial workers and late middle-aged botox infused women floating around here. Caitlyn Jenner would fit right in, and nobody would even notice. Bring a hearing aid with you if you want to hear what people in your party are saying to you, the noise level in this place is LOUD! Must be the design of the building's interior. Perhaps some noise absorbing walls to help muffle the sound? It's Tap 42 minus the good vibes of the original location.

This place is amazing!!!!! I have been to this place several times. I tried multiple appetizers there. The calamari and spinach dip are delicious. At first I thought it's spinach dip.. I've had that at other restaurants.. But this dip is different. For entree I had quinoa superfood salad with filet mignon.. This was healthy and delicious. (Who said eating healthy had to taste bad) For drinks I had their version of Moscow mule which is called "mule on tap". Normally I am not a fan of the ginger drink.. But it's heavenly. Can't want to go back and try this place for brunch.. Which I heard is pretty great!

Mind blown!!!!!!! The hype definitely fits to this amazing place. Everything was excellent from the vibe to the service, but the food was orgasmic. I was hesitant because I saw some reviews that gave it 2 stars but decided to come in and try it myself. The group I was with started with a calamari and mussels appetizer, this entry to the menu was so good, most of us fought over the broth of the mussels. I had the zen "something" dish as my entree and I could have that as my last meal. I know that perhaps I'm coming off as a person that is paid to write this review, but honestly since the first time I've been back at least twice a week. Their happy hour is awesome not just for the drink specials and beers, but because of the crowd (guys the women here are drop dead gorgeous and they actually interact with you, which is not a common thing in Boca, so it's a nice change of pace) OH and I almost forgot BRUNCH!!!!! all you can drink fro $15 bucks. How can people not like this place?!?!? PS. ASK FOR PETRA, NIKO, ZACK, NICOLE OR FRANCISCO. Their service is on point.

$5 burgers on Mondays!? They're delicious. I chose the "prohibition burger" but a vegetarian option is available too. The beer selection is great. Both the sweet potato fries and the Brussels sprouts were delicious. Our server took forever to bring the bill and rang it up wrong so we had to wait another decade for the corrected one but we had a very large party and I think the food was well worth the price despite the delay.

Nice place but be prepared for a very loud atmosphere and if you are not sitting at the bar, you will have to wait an average of ten minutes for your drink after you order it. Nice selection of local beers.

Here's the thing; I like bars and I also like good food. Seldom does a place pull off both. In the case of Tap 42, these folks execute both sides well. I was here on opening day, so as expected the staff was a little "Willie Nillie." I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the Chicken Little sliders. Honest, they are as good as anything ChikFila can put out! We had a slew of appetizers, all were super!

This place is on point. The service was incredible even though the place was rather busy. They don't have a kids menu or high chairs but I'm fine with having a kid free date night! We had the salmon zen bowl and and chicken avocado salad. They were both delicious and the salad was large enough to take some home. They have a version of a Moscow mule but with ginger infused vodka instead of ginger beer. I actually prefer their way over the traditional version. My husband had a few of beers from the many they had available which were reasonably priced on happy hour ($3 off). They have brunch on the weekends which we haven't been able to try but it's $15 bottomless mimosas so we will definitely be coming back for that sometime soon. Job well done Tap42!

Finished the Labor day weekend with a trip to Tap 42 in Boca tonight around 7pm. Perfect ending to a relaxing weekend. First I will start with when we arrived- the 2 well dressed hostesses greeted us with big smiles, asked our preference for seating and quickly escorted us to our table A+ start, our friendly server was quick to help us with our drink selection and offered some direction, we choose a few and she brought us some samples. We started with a caramel beer and UFO white. A+ on the beer choice. The look of the industrial materials and the beautiful reclaimed wood walls is fun and adds a nice vibe A+. Food well the food is fantastic and presented beautifully, I suggest the Calamari probably the best I've tasted and also the spinach artichoke dip for apps, the special was the prohibition burger for $5 what!!! A+ on the food. Ample portions so we brought home some. I give Tap 42-Boca 5 stars - We will be back

tap 42 is the perfect spot for lunch with friends, drinks after work, or people watching! The menu has a variety of options and so far everything we've tasted has been spot on. The service is great and prices are reasonable. The themed nights are smart - finally a restaurant to show Rocco's how to treat your patrons!!

Although the food was decent, I am giving tap 42 only one star due to the overly loud music which made it absolutely impossible to have a conversation at our table. Also the lack of knowledge of our waiter regarding beers available and what would be a suitable substitute for the unavailable beers. Unfortunately what is great in Fort Lauderdale has become yet another overly loud pretentious Boca joint.

Outstanding! Great craft selections & a creative menu. Zen salmon bowl highly recommended. I will be a regular customer.

Second time visiting the Boca location. I'm impressed with food, service and management even after recently opening. This is the place to go to in Boca, it was needed. Perfect location, style and decoration. Food quality is excellent as well as the Ft Laud location. My only suggestion for both places is the acoustics, very noisy when seating inside.

Excellent burgers salads sides. Good beer selection. Fabulous waitress. We'll be back.

Food is good. I like the brunch jalapeno corn cakes and the wings. But the wait is ridiculous. It's an odd location. If there's a two hour wait the only other option is to go to Rocco's Tacos across the way. Better to go to downtown delray where there are more options and they take reservations

A very handsome bar with the same overpriced, mediocre food they have in Fort Lauderdale. Another drinking den for Millenials, stick to the burgers, drink heartily and put it on your credit card so you won't see how badly you're being overcharged for beer and burgers.

Came here for a drink at the bar and the beer selection was good. One of us had beer and the other had wine. $12 for a 2 sip portion of wine was way beyond excessive. Since we (I) liked the beer selection, I decided to return for dinner and a few drinks. Once we had something to drink we ordered dinner. When the check arrived those in our party about passed out. We go out to eat breakfast and dinner 7 days/nights a week. The service was adequate, the food was mediocre and the price was deplorable. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I will pay whatever is necessary to assure good service and food. With all of the other brew houses and restaurants within 5 miles of this establishment, it would behoove you to look somewhere else. Although I have read good reviews of the brunch selections, I am afraid to try it since this experience was so bad.

Haven't been to the Fort Lauderdale location even though it's very close to me. Decided to check out the Boca one Sunday for brunch. The place was packed at 11 but luckily no wait unlike I hear about the other one where the line wraps around the building. I'm sure soon enough that will happen at this one too. Place is really nice, indoor and outdoor. Me and my best friend went to celebrate our birthdays. For my first time going to Tap 42 I researched popular items to order so We had the drunken goat which is hands down my favorite! The hangover was ok not bad. The fries are delicious. Definitely will be returning to try more items.

It was my first time here today, and arrived with a group of people. We had ordered and it took one and a half hours to get the food. I timed it, no joke. For a few burgers and appetizers. That turned me off- they need to hire more waiters if the staff can't handle the demand. Food was decent- but won't be going back anytime soon. Poor service.

Excellent brunch and excellent service. The food was so good. Tuna and crab rolls...yum!!! The hangover and steak and eggs double yum!!!

Sunday brunch was awesome. Bottomless BMs were great. Lamb and beef burger up there with best in town. Service was exceptional, and only open for 2 days. Good job, keep it up, I will be a regular.

I come to a regular meetup at Panera, and today, some of us still wanted to keep talking after the place had closed. We were just hanging out outside, when one of the guys suggested we go over here. I'm one of those people who are kind of squeamish around bars-they make me think of sweaty drunk people and loud music. This place only had one of these things (overly loud music). It was hard to talk to each other at times, but the service was good, and surprisingly, the food is quite tasty and reasonably priced ($10-$15). So even if you don't drink you can eat something good. The crowd is a mix of the regular Boca crowd (over 50) and young professionals. No one was crazy drunk. We were able to kick back and talk for a more than an hour. We had a cool waiter (guy with shaved sides of head and slightly feminine voice), but the front desk girl (orange dress) was huffy and rude. It has a really nice area outside with white loungey sofas to relax in. I wish it wasn't so crazy loud, but overall, it is a chill place to hang out, and I guess other people in Boca agree, given how busy it was for a weekday night.

Don't be taken in by beautiful ambiance, as it will cost mucho bucks to enjoy. To say overpriced is to put it mildly; $12 for a less than passable glass of wine is outrageous. We had a small appetizer, a couple of beers and wine and two $5 burgers, and the bill was $101 without tip. Wouldn't even go here for a special occasion to be ripped off! Be forewarned and avoid Tap 42.

Great variety of craft brews on tap and the bartenders are all on point. The food is delicious as well. Lilly is the best !!

Beer selection was OK for a place called TAP 42. My beer was served in a warm glass and the beer itself was warm. Noise level was close to rock concert. Food prices were ridiculous, 13.95 for a basic Burger.

I want to start by saying the atmosphere was chill and and enjoyable. I had a burger which was pretty good. Now with bad, the beers are so overly priced. Yeah they have a happy hour but the HH prices are what the beers should normally be priced at. You go any where else and you can get the same beers for a lot less!!!! Not worth dropping $7 on lagunitas ipa when it's supposed to be priced under $5. I guess they have to inflate the prices because of its location!!! No thank you!

This place is the spot you want to be at on Sunday, or any day for that matter. I was concerned about how this spot would be, considering it was their second location. All reservations were blown away upon my first visit with amazing service, smiling employees, delicious food, and carefully crafted cocktails. The place is very busy but that did not take away from any attention to detail from any employee. You can expect me to be first in line every Sunday for brunch. Daily deals as well so it is a must visit in Boca raton.

The much anticipated Tap 42, in Boca, is open and running! I was one of many who would drive down to Fort Lauderdale, make the line for brunch, stand at the bar for a drink, and planned many girls' night, gatherings, brunches etc., because of how good this place is. Now that the one in Boca is open, I love it even more! Since they opened, I've been for lunch, happy hour and brunch and each time has been great! Service is on point... fast, friendly and very welcoming, always ready to make recommendations, especially for those that are experiencing Tap 42 for the first time (yes, there's some). This location, in my opinion, is a little more comfortable and bigger, making it a little easier to get a table or spot at the bar. Although, with every week that passes, and more people know about it, you can see it getting fuller each time. For example, this past weekend I went for brunch and was able to get the last table available (outside, super hot) but, better than the 1.5hrs wait there was after that. So, yes, you still need to come early for brunch or start with the bottomless Mimosas/ Bloody Mary/ Funky Buddha Floridian while you wait. The food is solid. Great dishes for all tastes and appetites. I highly recommend the mussels, the Shrimp Mac 'N Cheese is delicious, of course, the Prohibition Burger is famous, and this past weekend I tried, for the first time, The Hangover for brunch and loved the sweet and savory combination it has. Like I said, there are some that still have not experienced either of the Tap 42 locations, and I have introduced 2 of them to it, and on that first visit became fans of it. There's no going wrong with them. Fun, casual environment; excellent food and drinks; bottomless brunch; and great location. Needless to say you'll be seeing me here often. Welcome to Boca, Tap 42!!! We are HAPPY to have you... Cheers!

First time in action of being 21 I decided to hangout here for unlimited mimosa bloody Mary's or funky Buddha Floridian for only 15$. Can't be doing this everyday but trust me you will get drunk! And it's absolutely wonderful! Prepare for a great time when you come here!

We came here on a Saturday night in September and it was very busy! Very loud also! We sat at the bar and ate there also. They have a huge selection of beers and offered us several samples to help us decide. The bartenders were all very friendly and helpful. We shared the Chicken Littles, which were a bit too salty for my taste, but if salt's not an issue for you, I would definitely try them! We then shared the Shrimp Mac n cheese. Can I just say OMG! One of THE BEST Mac n Cheese I've ever tried! Soooo creamy and rich, loaded with shrimp and thick cuts of bacon. It's almost like a cheese sauce and I wished I had some bread to dip into it. It was fabulous! We will definitely be back!

I was really excited to go here, checked the menu, checked reviews, and picked this for my Birthday. Rainy Saturday, not horribly busy. I was told 20-30 minute wait. Fine, we go to get a beer. First bartender was nice, quickly offered menus, and generally good. People next to us left so we sat down and ordered appetizer (spinach dip- really good) and beers. Well, after a while I noticed original bartender was gone, and a new girl finally comes over. She asked my bf if he was done. He said "yes and we'd like more beers and to order food". She took his empty glass and disappeared. Twenty minutes of watching her & the other bartenders not even look our way was enough for me. I had to flag down the manager just to get our tab. To top it off we never got called that a table was ready......

This place was so good I don't even have pictures to share because I enhaled everything the brought. I have the quinoa lettuce wraps to start which were out of this world even my mother who "doesn't like quinoa" was devouring them. Then I had the lamb and beef burger with goat cheese arugala and cranberry jam (which I had on the side) which was fantastic and I'm not really a burger person. The Asian slaw I had on the side was delicious and hugely portioned (as was everything) and the fries were delicious too. My grandfather who likes nothing and no one said he'd come back and finished his tuna and crab sliders and said his fish and chips were great. You could literally not get a better compliment. Also the meal is very well priced especially for Boca. Their inside outside seating arrangment is perfect and it's located in a cool courtyard. I want one to come to New York because their beer selection is also amazing and so reasonably priced.

Redemption for Tap42 Boca... A+ Experience! After a not-so pleasant dining experience at Tap42 Boca a few weeks ago, we decided to give the restaurant another chance at redeeming itself after being a huge fan and frequent diner at their Fort Lauderdale location, and we were glad we did! First of all, the management at Tap42 takes their patrons' complaints very seriously and they immediately remedied them, which shows great leadership and pride by upper management. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and were served by Sara, who was an absolute delight -- a great server who was very attentive, friendly and efficient. Kathy, the manager, came by our table to introduce herself and it was her main objective to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves and that everything was to our satisfaction; and that is a managerial gesture that I always appreciate. We had some delicious craft beers to go with our Asian Calamari which is one of the top 5 Calamari dishes in South Florida. I don't know their secret to getting calamari that tender! We moved on to delicious short rib and turkey burgers which were absolutely cooked to perfection, and Sara convinced us to get the Brussels sprouts to enjoy with our burgers. Wow! If these veggies tasted this delicious when I was a child, I would've eaten them when I was growing up. After this delicious meal, we opted to share a few desserts: the key lime parfait and bread pudding. They were brought out by Patrick, another manager, who also wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our meal and that everything about our experience was up to our satisfaction, and our answer was a resounding YES. We are SO thrilled that our experience at Tap42 of Boca is now on par with Tap42 of Fort Lauderdale as we live in Boca Raton, and to have a neighborhood gem of a restaurant so close to us is truly a real boon. I highly recommend Tap42 of Boca and we will be dining with you guys again very soon!

I've been to the Ft. Lauderdale location a good amount of times but I have to say, I like this one better and it's a great addition to the Boca area! It's basically the same...same ambiance, same great food and service, lots of great craft beer and cocktails to choose from, but it's much larger and more spread out than the original. I can actually walk to the restrooms without pushing my way through a crowd of people standing around with full drinks in their hands. It's great. So, I've been to this location a few times now and I still switch off between ordering a few of my favorite things, the chicken avocado salad and the salmon zen bowl. Both can be made gluten free and the staff there seems well educated in what gluten actually is, which is refreshing. They also have gluten free wings and little goat cheese stuffed peppers which are both really great! Now if only they had gluten free buns so I could enjoy one of their famous burgers without the use of a fork and knife.... In any case, I appreciate the amount of gluten free options they have available and clearly laid out on the menu. I've actually had the same server a couple times too, who's name was Paytra. She gave great suggestions especially on the gluten free beverage options as well as the cocktails. I was a little disappointed this location didn't have the strawberry mojito cocktail I always got in fort lauderdale, but she recommended the cucumber drink that was also really good. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this place...I still haven't been in to check out their brunch, but it's on my list of things to do. Overall, everything seems on point and even better than the sister location, although, I may have to make a stop in Fort Lauderdale next time I pass through to get that strawberry mojito!

First - a huge congrats to Tap 42 for opening up another location. I've been a fan of the Fort Lauderdale location since they opened. It's really cool to see a local business doing well and expanding. And even with the expansion they are keeping the quality of the food and service up to par with FTL - that's always tough. I have a new obsession.... Chicken Little Sliders. If you've never ordered these, get them next time. If it's your first visit, don't make the mistake I made for years...and get these ASAP! I don't even like chicken that much, but these little sliders with fried chicken...truffle honey chicken to be exact. So.Good! It comes with 2 sliders per order. Now, that's not to say that you won't be alright with all the other options on the menu, honestly, I've never had anything I didn't enjoy at Tap. I also had the beef sliders on the same visit (shush if you are judging, I was hungry!) and they were also super solid. Got a side of fries as well. To wash it all down I went with a Rogue Hazelnut Ale and Due South Cream Stout. Both were delicious, and the rest of the tap list that night was super strong as well. We sat outside - and while it was SCORCHING out there, such are summers in South Florida. The server kept bringing over ice water - to keep everyone hydrated and cool - so it was alright. With that said...they had SUPER nice staff. The runners weren't really too personable, but our waitress was excellent. Super nice. Parking can be tricky here - I managed to snag a spot fairly quickly - and not too far. While there is a large lot, a lot prefer to valet to not have to go around to find a spot. This is a very busy shopping center, so you'll be lucky to snag a spot on prime hours.
